Should Kitchen Cabinets Match Window Trim

Second i am painting my kitchen cabinets a cream color the existing granite has a cream base with browns black and gold in it.

Should kitchen cabinets match window trim.

Should i paint the trim and family room cabinetry cream to match the kitchen cabinets. Our remodel is a very modern mid century look with clean lines. It isn t that the cabinets and trim shouldn t match but that they don t have to. It can be risky to mix and match whites as one can easily make another look dirty warm cool etc.

The bedrooms and back hallway also have white trimwork. If you don t it s sometimes hard to determine where you should make a switch. Your decision needs to be based. To shock the wood workers in the audience the doors and trim in the kitchen could also be painted on the kitchen side only.
