Currently the invisible lights emit a very subtle amount of light from above.

To add invisible lights into your room open build mode and enter the bb showhiddenobjects cheat.
Anyway i fixed it added new colors and updated the texture to be a bit less grainy.
You can plop any invisible light you want into your room.
Someone asked this for sims 3 and i copied it for sims 4 because i ve gots ta know.
Sims can pass through them with no problem.
With the sims 4 s latest update invisible lights from the sims 3 world adventures update are now back to the sims 4 as well.
I remember you could hide them on the old pc games but i ve yet to find out how to do it on this.

I do want the emphasize you still have the same wall placement freedom as you are used to and basically you know how it works.
The second after my sims 4 game updated i played it and found that my houses all of them that i have checked have invisible walls.
I was able to fix the problem thanks to youtube but when i opened the game up again the invisible walls were back.
From the drop down choose lights.
The wall lights do not actually apply to the walls directly but in front of them.
Find sims 4 cc in simsday.
Maybe the update corrupted certain rooms.
If you re upload the affected house after fixing it it s fine.
