Nightlife patch 17 of the sims 3 and patch 21 of the sims 4 half walls are comparable in height to fences or come in five different sizes ts4 ranging from short to very tall they are completely solid and can be painted just like a full wall but only use the bottom part of the wall paint.

I can not place windows in the upper circle because of the windows in the lower circle.

Things you can t do include smooth horizontal placement or more than one window per wall segment.

The window category has i believe 3 options for most windows and doors so that they are suitable for each wall height.

If you are planning on utilising free window and door placement in a build it could be a good idea to wait until you are happy with your window and door placement before painting the walls.
From your description it sounds like you want to place a 2 tile wide window centered on a 3 tile wide wall.
However i am on the 3rd story of my house and i cannot place a window if there is a window on the lower floor directly below it.
